It is a garden outlook rather than a direct ocean view, but Kimpton Seafire Resort + Spa sits at the northern end of Seven Mile Beach, and the beach is about a 5-minute walk away.
How are the beds arranged and how many people does the bungalow sleep?
The bedroom has 1 King Bed, and the 900 sq. ft. bungalow is set up for up to four guests. The living and sleeping areas are separate, so the bedroom stays apart from the sitting area. The resort does not provide rollaway or extra beds, but a free crib can be set up on request for an infant.
What is the bathroom like?
The private bathroom has a separate bathtub and shower. It comes stocked with bathrobes, slippers, designer toiletries (shampoo and soap), a hair dryer and towels.
What is included for guests staying in this bungalow?
Kimpton Seafire is not an all-inclusive resort, so meals and drinks are charged separately. Is this bungalow a good choice for families or longer stays?
Yes. The separate sitting area, desk and laptop workspace make it practical for longer stays or for working remotely. A wardrobe, iron and ironing board and in-room safe help with unpacking. Families will appreciate the free crib, the kids' pool and SPLASH pad (no charge within the resort fee) and Camp Seafire, a kids-only programme for ages 5 to 12 that requires a registration fee. The resort welcomes guests of all ages, though many visitors are adults.
How close is the bungalow to the beach, pool and restaurants?
Seven Mile Beach is about a 5-minute walk from the resort. On site you will find the outdoor pool (open 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM) with a pool bar, Ave for breakfast, brunch and dinner, Avecita for Spanish tapas dinners, the poolside Nana Cabana and the Library by the Sea cocktail bar. Pool and beach cabanas carry a surcharge.
Can I bring a pet?
Yes. The bungalow is pet friendly, and the resort welcomes pets of any size, weight or breed at no extra charge, with food and water bowls provided.
How easy is it to reach the resort and get around Grand Cayman from here?
Owen Roberts International Airport is roughly 10 to 15 minutes by car. There is no complimentary shuttle, so you would take a taxi, which usually costs around US$25 to 35 to the Seven Mile Beach area. Because the resort is at the northern end of the beach, renting a car is recommended for outings to Camana Bay, George Town or the Cayman Turtle Centre. Check-in is from 4:00 PM and check-out is at noon.
Is WiFi good enough for working from the room?
