What is included with this room, and is Kimpton Seafire all-inclusive?
Kimpton Seafire Resort + Spa is not all-inclusive. Guests do get free in-room WiFi (50+ Mbps), valet or self-parking with in/out privileges, loaner bikes, daily fitness classes and non-motorized water sports. The kids' splash pad is also free. The resort describes these as covered by its resort fee, and an evening wine hour and morning coffee are also described as complimentary. Meals are paid separately. Full breakfast runs 7:00 to 11:00 AM at roughly USD 15 to 30 per person unless your rate includes it.
How close is the room to the beach, the pool and the restaurants?
Seven Mile Beach is the resort's home beach, within about a 5-minute walk. The resort has one outdoor pool (7:00 AM to 6:00 PM) with a children's area and a pool bar, plus Nana Cabana for poolside drinks. Dining includes Ave, which overlooks the beach, Avecita for Spanish tapas at dinner, and Library by the Sea for craft cocktails.
Is this room a good choice for families or for couples?
Both work. The resort is not adults-only, although many guests are adults. Families have a kids' pool, a splash pad and Camp Seafire, a kids' program for ages 5 to 12 that requires a registration fee. Couples can use The Spa at Seafire, which includes a co-ed Jacuzzi and steam room. With one king bed, the room is most comfortable for two adults, or two adults with a baby in a crib.
